Meeting Laura: A Journey Beyond Limits With Trackchair®
In a recent conversation, we had the pleasure of meeting Laura, an inspiring individual who embodies resilience and adventure. Once an elite endurance athlete and active personal trainer, Laura biked over 300 miles a week while caring for her family and animals. Following her injury, she faced significant challenges, navigating life as a C4-C5 incomplete quadriplegic. Living in Northern California’s stunning Redwood Forests, Laura passionately shares how the Trackchair® has transformed her life.
From Athlete To Adventurer
Despite her injury, Laura’s athletic spirit remains undiminished. Her love for the outdoors and connection with animals—like her charming mini horse, Mr. Baggin—has fueled her desire to explore her expansive property. After discovering the Trackchair® through social media, she saw it as a key to regaining access to her beloved trails.
The Trackchair® has restored Laura’s freedom, allowing her to move effortlessly through diverse terrains. No longer confined to the shade during family gatherings, she can now join in on activities like cornhole and easily grab her sunglasses. This newfound independence has boosted her confidence and rekindled her connection with nature.

The Trackchair® also enhances Laura’s photography, enabling her to capture stunning images without compromising stability. “It lets me get up on the side of a hill and lean over for that perfect shot,” she explains.
Creating Memories
Laura’s fondest memories now include camping trips and spontaneous adventures with children, who are drawn to the chair’s unique design. “It gets me in the mix,” she shares, recalling joyful moments on hikes and at the river with her young nephew, where they practice driving her chair.
The joy of engaging with family has been rekindled, thanks to the Trackchair®. Laura emphasizes the importance of adaptive technology in her recovery journey, helping her accept her new reality while still pursuing an active lifestyle.
